These 8" x 10" ceramic tiles reference the female figure found in paintings and sculptures from the French Romantic period. They were created from Terre Cotta clay during a residency in the south of France. They are drawn with underglaze pencils and chalks in situ upon the Côte d'Azur, and made to hang upon the wall or can sit in a tabletop stand. No two are alike.
