These 8" x 10" ceramic tiles reference the female figure found in paintings and sculptures from the French Romantic period. They were created from a Spanish black clay during a residency in the south of France. They are etched and painted with underglaze, and made to hang upon the wall or can sit in a tabletop stand. No two are alike.
